During my recent business trip to Ankeny, I had the pleasure of staying at the AmericInn by Wyndham, which turned out to be an unexpected delight. The pool area was a standout feature; it’s hard to believe I’ve found one of the best indoor pools in a hotel here! With a decent size and warm water, combined with a spacious hot tub, it made for a perfect way to unwind after a day filled with meetings. The breakfast offered a nice variety, though the sausage could use a bit more cooking – just a minor hiccup in an otherwise excellent spread. The hotel’s proximity to both the Iowa State Fairgrounds and local attractions was very convenient, which made it an ideal base for my stay. With friendly staff and a laid-back atmosphere, AmericInn really did enhance my experience in the U.S. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay with the added bonus of excellent entertainment and cultural experiences nearby, I'd definitely recommend making a return visit.
